One of best features in our opinion of the new boots from Ronix is the ability to Heat Mold them to custom fit your foot. This is possible due to the “Intuition Liners” which have been available in Snowboard boots for some time that Ronix has finally brought to Wakeboarding.
Ronix Liners are made from thermo-forming closed cell foam. These tiny cells of bubble screat a high cross linkage between molecules in each cell wall. This means that the foam does not allow gases to migrate, which would change the shape of the foam. All of this results in the ability to mold the foam into a specific shape when heated and the foam will retain that shape when cooled with reduced heat-related shrinkage, high quality memory, and resistance to packing out. Intuition foam can also be re-heated and molded more than once without damaging its structural integrity or quality. While the usual method of releasing a limited edition binding is to make it an oddity with crazy colors and materials, CWB has done their limited release a little bit different. These L.E. boots are unique but not outlandish, and clean looking without being boring. They released the L.E.’s in their 3 most popular high end boots: the Zeus, Faction & women’s Ember.
CWB’s Hinge Technology everyone’s been talking about is available on all 3 of these Limited Edition boots. The Hinge Tech has been extremely popular this season and last season because it allows the binding to open super wide but also lock down with superior heel hold. It has even been improved this year with a new simplified locking mechanism on the Zeus which coils the extra cable into itself eliminating unsightly dangling laces. California Correct Craft and the Greenhouse Rideshop are hosting the first annual “Ride like a Pro” demo weekend at the Lake Elsinore Channel in Lake Elsinore CA. We have reserved the channel on April 28th and 29th (The following weekend to our Annual Spring Sale) and look forward to a fun filled weekend on the water! The new Byerly Wakeboards Gear is here and has an even more high quality construction than I had originally anticipated it would- especially his new Wakeboard Deck the “Legacy” which is built like a rock and has incredible detail with pinstriping and an the metallic Byerly logo which is actually inlayed into the topsheet.This thing is built to take a beating on the sketchiest sliders and keep on ticking.
There’s plenty more cool new byerly gear also like the Byerly Floatless Handle which is pretty similar to last years but with an all new look. The new Byerly Helmet is quite a bit different than all the other wakeboard helmets out there and keeps with Byerly’s classic style.
