I’ve been playing with the new Correct Craft Site all morning and still can’t get enough of it. CC’s marketing department has always had a super clean aesthetic on their site. This latest site takes that style and add’s a bit of rich media spice on top.
The new website was a collaboration between Correct Craft’s in-house marketing team and Orlando based Web Developer Red Rocket Studios.
We just received a few of the new DVD Beans and Rice which showcases the riding of So-Cal Locals Kyle Murphy, Melissa Mardquart and many others. The DVDs actually come in the packaging you see here. DVD jewel cases be damned!
The Pro Handles that made a brief debut last season are back with a new improved construction that won’t break down with abuse. These handles have a sick brushed EVA, chammy-like grip that’s sure to please the most discerning wake ripper. Pictured are the Shane Handle, Shane (with T), Watson Handle, and the Watson (with T).

This holiday was also the first chance I’ve gotten to actually ride the gear from Slingshot Wakeboards. After hearing rave reviews from all the other staff here at the greenhouse and trying on the Driver Boot in the store it’s about time I actually rode the stuff! My favorite ss board was the Response 145 which had a surprisingly rock solid explosive pop for such a smooth carver. Both the Slingshot boards land super smooth too, it’s almost ridiculous. Basically, the Slingshot Response has super solid pop, and certainly lives up to it’s name in being the most responsive board I’ve ever ridden.
The Slingshot Boots are a bit tough to get in and out of, but this is the price you pay for the most comfortable and ergonomic boots out there. I could keep these puppies on all day.
If you’re a bit skeptical about the new slingshot stuff I would highly recommend demoing it yourself before you buy. We’ve got all the slingshot stuff available for demo here at the greenhouse. Our normal demo rates are $15 a day and up to $45 (3 days) of this goes as a gift certificate for anything in the store! At the very least I recommend trying on the Driver Boot here in the store. It is amazingly comfortable.

A bunch of us Greenhouse guys had the opportunity to test out the entire Ronix Wakeboard and Binding line out at the Channel at Lake Elsinore yesterday. Big thanks to Jason Mendes from Ronix who made it all happen.
Wade Wagley’s favorite setup from the bunch was the One 137 with the One Boot while Brandon Horvat dug the 143 Covin with the Cell Boot.
I was personally super stoked on the Frontier 137 and the Scout Boot.
The Frontier was a solid and forgiving continuous ride that went really big and landed really soft. It was also super quick and responsive and just generally fun to ride, which is what I love in a board. The Scout boot was also my fav because they were amazingly comfortable and had a little less support than the One Boot, which also had an great fit. The Scout allows you a little more room for laying over your ankles for maximum style in your grabs and carves.

The 2008 Hyperlite Vinyl 108 is Brandon Thomas’s long awaited pro-model with everything BT has wanted and then some. Almost two years in the works, the Vinyl takes design elements from all of BT’s favorite skates and combines them into one. Overall, the Vinyl has a wider profile to create pop and accommodate for a bigger foot. A subtle concave and die-cut grip tape top complement the board’s over all shape.
